You can receive Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life.  If you open your heart, invite Him in, and learn of Him.  He will
come in and dwell with you.  Following is a simple prayer to invite Christ to be your Lord and Savior: Dear Jesus, I
acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I need to be forgiven for my sins.  I believe that You are the Son God and that
You died on the cross, shed your innocent blood, and was raised from the dead for the forgiveness of my sins.  I am
sorry for my sins and I turn from them to follow you.  I invite You into my life to dwell in my heart and to be my Lord.  I will
obey you for the rest of my life.  Right now I acknowledge that I am saved.  Thank you for becoming my Lord and Savior.
I am a child of God!

How are we saved?
The bible says that if anyone acknowledges that Jesus is Lord, and believes that God has raised Him from the dead they
shall be saved.
Romans 10:9-10, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.

What are we saved from?
The bible says that our sins are forgiven, and we are translated from the power of darkness into the kingdom of God’s
Son.
Colossians 3:13-14, He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son
of His love, 14in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

What does it mean?
We have been restored to a proper relationship with God the Father and receive eternal life.
John.16:23-24, “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the
Father in My name He will give you.  Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that
your joy may be full.
John 17:3, And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have
sent.

What will happen?
We are born into a new family and God becomes our Father.
Rom.8:16, The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
We become members of the body of Christ
1Corinthians 12:13, For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether
slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
1Corinthians 12:27, Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
